How to make shugaring paste at home

Sugar hair removal occupies a leading position in the field of cosmetology, and this is not surprising. Shugaring paste is easy to use, and relatively cheap ingredients make it possible to prepare the composition at home. The main advantage of hair removal in this way is the absence of ingrown hairs after the procedure, painlessness, long-term results and hypoallergenicity.

Single use sugar paste

The final product has an average degree of viscosity, so in most cases it refers to universal methods of hair removal. You can use the paste in the bikini and armpit areas, on the legs and face.

• sugar - 60 gr.
• citric acid (powder) - 25 gr.
• filtered water - 45 ml.

1. Prepare a thick-walled pan, pour granulated sugar (preferably cane) into it, pour warm filtered water. Put the composition on the stove, simmer over low heat and stir constantly so that the sugar does not stick to the bottom.
2. With each subsequent minute, the syrup will darken, acquiring a soft caramel color. You need to wait until all crystals melt and the first bubbles appear. After that, the burner can be turned off.
3. Scoop the sugar paste with a spoon, drip into a shallow saucer, evaluate the viscosity of the mixture. The applied drop should not spread on the surface.
4. A properly prepared composition will thicken relatively slowly. After the viscosity test, re-place the pan and paste on the stove. Warm it, begin to slowly pour citric acid, while stirring with a wooden spoon.
5. When the mixture becomes homogeneous, turn off the burner, close the pan and let the mixture cool at room temperature. Do not send the paste in the refrigerator or freezer for quick cooling.
6. Constantly control the consistency of the mixture, it should not be very hard (like wood). A properly prepared composition very slowly spreads over a tablespoon and practically does not drain from it.

Reusable Sugar Paste

The composition is considered universal. It is suitable for removing excess vegetation on any part of the body, both male and female.

• sugar - 800 gr.
• citric acid - 110 gr.
• purified water - 220 ml.

1. Prepare a non-stick container with thick walls and a bottom, pour water into a pan and put on a slow fire.
2. Mix citric acid with granulated sugar, pour the mixture into a pan, simmer over a fire until the crystals are completely dissolved. Do not forget to stir constantly, do not allow the mixture to solidify on the sides and bottom of the container.
3. After all the granules have dissolved, bring the mass to a boil over high heat. Collect the mixture from the walls, mix.
4. As soon as the first bubbles appear, put the burner on the minimum mark, cover with a lid. Cook the paste for about 5 minutes, then open the container and mix the mass, wait another 7 minutes.
5. When you see that the mixture has turned brown, add heat and boil the mixture a little. You will feel a characteristic caramel smell. The paste will become almost colorless, it will lose saturation with each passing minute of cooking. Once the mixture foams, set the fire to a minimum, simmer for 5 minutes.
6. The total time taken to cook the paste varies between 15-25 minutes. After turning off the burner, remove the composition from the stove, close the lid and let it cool at room temperature.As soon as the mass begins to thicken, move it to a closing bowl or container.
7. After you pour the pasta, soak the pan with water, so that later it is easier to wash it. The above composition is designed for long-term use (about 4 months). The mixture can be used after 4 hours after cooking.
8. It is not uncommon for a sugar paste to be so thick that it cannot be used. If it turned out exactly the same, pour 45 ml into the mass. boiling water, put on the stove, bring to a boil. Cool, use as directed after 3-5 hours.

The final product is stored in a dry and warm (22-26 degrees) place. Before using the composition, heat it in a steam / water bath or in a microwave.

Sugar Paste for Men

The sugar paste recipe is designed for its subsequent use in the armpits and bikini area in men. Since the hair is quite dense, it is necessary to use a viscous thick mixture.

• lemon juice - 55 ml.
• granulated sugar - 450 gr.
• pure water - 65 ml.

1. Prepare an enameled pan with a thick bottom, pour sugar and water into it, mix. Put the container on a small fire, simmer for 5 minutes, do not forget to interfere.
2. After the expiration of the time, add the power of the burner, mix again and bring the mass to the appearance of the first bubbles (partial boiling).
3. As soon as this happens, reduce the fire again, scrape off the contents from the walls, send to the bulk. Cook the product until it turns brown and starts to smell of caramel.
4. It will take you 7-10 minutes to completely dissolve the sugar crystals. After this moment, turn off the stove, stir the pasta again and pour lemon juice into it with a thin stream.
5. Close the lid, let it brew for about 1.5-2 hours, then conduct a viscosity test. Scoop the product with a spoon, lift it vertically and evaluate the consistency. Properly cooked pasta does not spread, it is easy to roll into a ball and is relatively difficult to knead.
6. If you have too much liquid, adjust it by adding granulated sugar and lemon juice in a ratio of 10: 1. If the composition turned out to be very thick (in a frozen state it resembles a wooden surface), dilute it with water. In both cases, the product must be boiled and cooled.

Soft Density Sugar Paste

Sugar paste of this type is used in cosmetology to remove hair on the face, hands and in the bikini area (along the line of underwear). The composition is not suitable for armpits, deep bikinis, legs.

• lemon - 1 pc.
• cane sugar - 360 gr.
• drinking water - 35 ml.

1. Take a container with non-stick or enamel coating, pour cane sugar into it and pour in water, mix. Put the pan on medium heat, slightly warm the mixture.
2. After 3-5 minutes, the sugar begins to boil, do not stop stirring. As soon as the first bubbles appear, reduce the heat, cook the mass until the granules are completely dissolved.
3. Turn off the hotplate. Squeeze lemon juice in a convenient way, strain it to prevent pulp from getting into the final product. Pour the liquid into sugar syrup, mix again.
4. Cover the container with the paste lid, wait 2-3 hours. After the expiration date, move the mass into a sealed container, use as directed.

How to do shugaring at home

After making the paste, you will probably wonder about the technology of hair removal using the sugar method. Consider the basic instructions that apply to all zones.

1. Grab a small amount of pasta with a tablespoon, make a ball out of it. As soon as you begin to mash the mass, it will gain shine and brighten. A perfectly prepared composition resembles plasticine in structure.
2. Next, take fragrance-free baby powder, apply it to the treated area. Rub into the skin, avoid the accumulation of talc in large quantities.
3. Roll the ball against hair growth on slightly whitish skin. Wait 2 minutes until the paste is partially hardened. You can carry out the procedure in several areas at the same time to reduce the time spent.
4. Put a powder on your hands, pick up the edge of the frozen paste, pull a strip of hair growth three times. After that, immediately press the epilation area with your palm to reduce pain.
5. It is important to understand that excess vegetation should be removed with the root, and not cut off in the middle. If you see that the paste has not yet hardened enough, wait for the extra time, take your time.
